Ian rushed through the trees, branches snapping at his feet as he ran. He was now at a full hurtle; this was one creature that did not like to be in the forest nightly. Especially when there were people around.
"Rosa?" he cried, the panic growing through his voice. "Rosa, come out -- this isn't funny!"
As he reached the burning building, his eyes grew wide in terror. Surely no one was in there?

Rosa suddenly remembered the boy she had been playing with. "IAN!" She exclaimed in horror, realizing she had forgotten about him and had ran out of the forest without him. She ran back to the dark green forest, leaves crunching quietly under her feet. She raced through it until she found the boy, and she ran up to him, saying, "I'm SOOOOO sorry!! Please please please forgive me! I didn't mean to leave. I just.. Forgot... Sorry!" Her hands covered her eyes while she apologized.

"It's... okay," Ian said quite awkwardly, hesitatingly patting Rosa on the back. He turned to the burning hut and started from over his shoulder, "D'you - er," but was cut off by her sobs. He arched a brow; he hadn't expected Rosa to overreact like this. Then again...
"It's all right, I'm not afraid of the dark or anything," he smiled weakly. "Listen, you think anyone's in there?"
The boy could hear something very faint, but it could just be the wind... yet, it sounded like someone crying...

Rosa sighed, her mood turning to a sorrow-filled one. "Yes, there were probably people in there, but I've not an idea as to how many people. I wish I could've done something.." Rosa's face went blank as she was lost in her thoughts.
